Thanks! The silver patch was something we found among my grandfather's stuff. It's a name patch he had engraved with his name.

Wow, and it's original. I have a thing for patches, that's a lucky find there. ;)

Nice canvas but the maxped bottle holder gives it more punch!why didn't you get the molle straps?

I often wish the top loop field was 2"x6" so it could accommodate 2 standard flag size patches side by side, with the 1"x6" as the field on the admin pouch for nametapes. I think it would look better and would better cater to those who like patches (me) But that isn't enough to make me look for a different bag.

The leather straps that is on the bag aren't meant for molle. And by using grimlocks on the side of the bottle holder I could secure it better than with molle straps.

I agree that a 3x6 patch panel would be REALLY nice for the upper. so that is where I stick my notebook bag. (All hook on the outside.)

I was thinking the straps would work better since you can loop it around the leather straps and back to the PALS of the Maxped holder. The grimlocks are a nice detail in itself but using four would make look heavy whereas you can do away with two straps and keep it light. Anyhows, I like customizing on pouch attachements so I end up spending a lot on biners as I couldn't purchase those grimlocks from any outdoor stores in my location and online purchase will hit me hard on shipping for a small item. Have fun doing more attachments!, its the next obssessive thing after the bag!

Flag patches yes ideally at the top but the size of the pouch may not be in proportion so they have to do it on the main compartment.

Nice looking pack. I'm not familiar with this brand. Will have to add them to my list for potential 3 day packs (cuz I'm wanting to get one in the near future).

Love the "Do No Harm. Do Know Harm" patch!

Thanks! I use this pack for everything...from hiking, to work, to just keeping it in the truck for extended days.

The amount of kit packed into it is pretty ridiculous, but it accommodates it well, and isn't too heavy!

In fact, that was the first way I tried to attach it, but it was way too wobbly then. I use the straps when the bottle holder is on my backpack.

Here a few shots of my Falcon II on a great day at Petco Park in San Diego. I'm still switching on and off between the Falcon II and my Tactical Tailor Urban Operator. The Falcon II works great with my camera insert because it is a panel loader. The UO is a little difficult to get in to.

Got a Malaga about three weeks ago and I love it. Also perfect fit for an 11" Macbook Air. Now I just need my EDCF patch!

Do you have anything you are using as a water bottle holder? Only thing it is missing as far as I can tell.
