I'll do a load-out as soon as we get some sunshine again (my indoors pics always suck), but my shoulder bag got way too heavy ages ago so I switched back to a backpack recently.

Kifaru Urban Zippy, Koala Lite, and Tailgunner I Combo

Mods: Zippyframesheet, colored pulls all over, homemade koala lifters, and grimlocks for mounting the koala to the zippy.

The Koala works great as a roomy admin pouch as well as a shoulder and chest rig when I just want something small. This winter I've found the chest rig to be super handy for downhill skiing and hopping on and off chair lifts.

The Tailgunner 1 is a recent addition to the setup. The zippy sits nicely on top of the Tailgunner and the Omnibelt takes all the wt off my shoulders. Very nice!

This setup is very flexible and adapts for urban and backcountry. I'm gonna try this in place of my osprey pack for some hiking trips this year. By adding a back pouch I have a total of (1500+900+1000) 3400 ci of storage (not including the koala). Expensive, but oh so nice.

I like the colour of this bag, even though I already have the black, multi-cam, and sandstone of the original version!

2 years later same bag now over 4 years old contents evolved but still going strong First posted on page 18 post #354!! this bag goes to work every day and every other place I go farther than 5 miles from the house it has been drug all over hell, washed several times It shows a little wear but has years more use left in it . Not bad for a bag that is still less than $40

    SOC three day pass backpack.

I use it as an edc and school pack. I have it on me almost all the time when walking/biking on and off campus.

Not my edc bag, but loaded up my woods pack today. Planning on dragging the kids out into the winter woods for some cooking, shelter building, and fire making practice. Good times. I've got a few more things coming from ebay, mostly cooking implements.

Edit: probably wont take the boony hat. Bit too cold for it

It might take me another week at least, the weather here is pretty bad I'm afraid. If I have the time I might try to make a large enough light-box from the box it came in next weekend though.

edit: this might help for now though:

Mine is a slightly newer version then the one in the video, it doesn't have the compression straps and it has open side-pockets instead of zippered ones. I haven't noticed any other differences so far. Also, it is advertised as a 17" laptop bag, but on the tags that were on mine when it arrived it say that it has a 15"laptop sleeve.

TP is kinda low as well
