don't go and try to confuse people, now. it's just a medical red cross from mil spec monkey...

what i find funny is that i bought that EDC organizer with no intention of what to use it for. it's way bigger than i thought it would be. so at first i just put some alcohol wipes and some bandaids into it. then i put some asprin, then some ace wrap, then some athletic tape and gause, duct tape, all sorts of crap fit into it. but the zipper is near bursting out. so then i bought a second one. it's for food and fire (if you couldn't tell from the patches. the pig = bacon = food)

they need to make a bacon patch.

Is that pouch with the pig and fire where you keep your beef jerky and bacon? I'm just saying since the medic patch is probably for med supplies, right?

basically. it's stuff to start fire, and it has some food in it, stuff to add to treated water to cover any flavor, tea bags, that sort of stuff. just stuff to have in case i get stuck at a call for a long time and want a quick snack or sugar rush or something.

Do you have any photos of everythign dumped? I am trying to decide between the 12 and the 24 for my edc/work bag for now, and seeing what yuo have it filled up with to compare, might just help me make the decision.

No. I really do need to do a load-out photo shoot. But I haven't yet. I will say this, though. I have handled both bags and for me the nod would have to go to the 24 primarily because of one huge feature that the RUSH 12 does not have. That would be the two side pockets that are built into the 24 and 72 but were not included on the 12. Those side pockets are each capable of storing a 27oz/800ml Klean Kanteen and really eliminate the need for any additional water pouches. The H2O carrier on my bag houses my DukJug which is used to store power bars n' snacks. Also, inside of those two side pockets are addditional, smaller pockets.

Both bags, the 12 & 24, are great choices! I guess it really comes down to how much you plan to carry. Individual needs vary. Only you can decide which bag is right for you. I will try to get some pics posted in the next few days. Suffice to say that in the main compartment, aside from some items of clothing, everything is stored in different sized Eagle Creek bags. That way I can move between the different packs I have quite easily.

I hope that helps for now?

    Cheers!

That does help some, ATM I am leaning towards the 24, that way I can put my duty belt in htere at the end of my shift, also it will better allow me to carry a change of clothes. next friday when I go to buy, I think I will just take all my stuff and load up the packs to see what fits best.

I don't get it...why do all the tactical brands have garbage admin compartments, and the "mainstream" brands have awesome ones?

You have a good point but in a true combat scenario the important stuff is normally carried on a Load Carrier Vest in a separate admin panel or pouch for quick and easy access .

    BE WELL .. GH
