That looks like a great idea...may I ask, how did you replace straps? When I first tried out the bag, I thought the strap was too "big" so to speak -- it seemed too wide at the top of the strap.
Well i've put the top strap in the back pocket and it's look like a soft pillow. The lower part of the strp will carry inside the bag ;-)
Been stalking here or a while. Just added this pack to the edc bill. I switch between this and a 5.11 messenger bag. Just depends on how much I plan on carrying and the time of year Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
That's a great looking pack able_man. Osprey makes top notch stuff. I bought the Daylite as a hiking pack for my son and it has held up well - and he's unusually destructive on backpacks.
My two regular edc bags, and i have another boblbee with speakers on the front, but with all batteries and electronics it's kinda cumbersome (and lacking in inside space too) to use as an regular edc bag, so i only take it with me when I know the weather's gonna be nice and I'm going to spend some time outdoor! The normal boblbee is used when carrying alot, like heavy books, my friggin' school laptop or both. And the smaller backpack is just a nice change of things, even though it gives me a backache when I overcarry it. I'll be purchasing a Maxpedition organizer of some sort, probably the all time classic EDC organizer. In order to have all my usual EDC items in one place as I switch bags.
Oaklington, I've seen people use those hard shell packs before, mostly for motorcycling and skateboarding, etc. What is the purpose of it, and what is that notch at the base of it for?
Hey really nice pack you got there. I was just wondering if this pack would suit me well. I want to try to get a new school pack but I don't know how it would fit. I am 6 1 about 250. Being you have it is it big enough for my body type? Or would it look too small on my back. Thanks

A few reviews I read said they thought it was kind of long, but I'm 5'7" about 170 and don't have a problem with the size. So I know I'm not very big, but I still don't think it would look too small on someone your size, especially for a school pack. I love it and would recommend trying it out if you think you'd like it.
Basicly to protect whatever stuff you've got inside, and in some models, protect your back if you fall. I think they're rated as class two (good) proetction for your back. What notch, Idon't quite understand what you mean? As for the curve at the bottom it was originally a byproduct of the ergonomics. But it's awesome for putting something like a watertight bag or a sleepingbag on I use them beacuse they're super ergonomical, and even if you've jammed it full you barley feel it!
