Went for a nice long walk. Had it cut short by some rain.

Interesting design on those Columbia bags. How are you finding it?

I wanted a lighter bag that would go flat. The bag is 20 ounces empty and that is impressive IMO, so far I like the internal organization and it is bladder compatible. I will let you know how it holds up after some good use and abuse.:D

I've carried this Timbuk2 since 1998 and it's gone with me on all my adventures since then. Despite being very well worn I don't think I'll ever give it up, even if I replace it with a more "grown up" bag.

I ordered this from a local bike shop in Portland, OR because I liked the sling concept over the more traditional backpack. I was pretty excited to get it because I was able to pick my own colors. Years later I bought one for my wife and was amazed at how far they've come with customization.

Inside is a rubberized interior with a few pockets on the front for pens and other small items. It's really a very versatile bag and I still use it for over-night trips and daily to work.

That's an interesting design. Can you fold or flatten it in some way?

Yea, it flattens down quite nicely. The poles have memory so they go right back into shape.

Nice set-up! I bought a Kodiak, because I occasionally need to schlepp my 15" MacBook Pro, and always have a few file folders (11¾"x9¼") to carry, too. I knew the Sitka wouldn't cut it, but that Malaga would at least handle the files, if not the MBP, so it would make a nice smaller alternative. Or, it would if Maxpud offered in in a "S-Type" config. Just too accustomed to weak-side carry.

Yea the Malaga was def what I was looking for! Great for laptops, tablets and files of any kind. And if you wanna go double strap you can also opt for the Typhoon.
