So I'm on leave and decided to organize a bit. It was a perfect opportunity to snap a group shot. Let me know what you think.

Maxped Falcon and Pygmy in foliage
Spec Ops the Pack in black
TAD Gear Fast Pack Patrol size in black (back corner)
TAD Gear Fast Pack EDC in foliage & black
    TAD Gear Litespeed in black
    Rush 5.11 Moab 6 (center)

    Bottom Row:

    Great collection, DownSouth.
Could you ID both the "green" and "grey" colors? I ask because it is sometimes difficult to ID a color in photos.
For example, the "green" appears to be in between Foliage Green and OD Green. The grey looks grey.
Or...are the grey packs actually Foliage Green in person? Thanks!

All the packs that look grey are actually foliage green in person. The only two that are OD green are my kifaru packs.

I like them alot. I was in San Francisco on Saturday for the Chinese New Year parade (didn't get to visit TAD) and wore the coyote one all day. Comfortable and a little bigger than my E&E. The only thing I did not like about the pack was it came with metal zipper pulls. I don't like jingling noises unless there is money involved. As soon as I got home I cut the tabs off and replaced with paracord-problem solved (I forgot I did the same with my black one a while back). Everything else was awesome.

mhh, let's say, you've got lots of backpacks...;)
ok, I know, unqualified answer, but seriously, nice collection. I specially like the gray packs, especially the I think SOG backpack, very nice.

I know... It's a condition. Believe me when I say I had more than this at one point. I've had to reluctantly get rid of a few last year. I think the sad part is only two of these were issued (SOC Tac Ruc & SpecOps Pack).... You should see my issued gear. I should post more pics.... :)

    downsouth,

I wouldn't mind taking that black TAD P.S. off of your hands if you decided you have no need for it.

Here's my Head Porter Black Beauty daypack with 'tactical straps' that I purchased second hand about 4 years ago. Still use it everyday, although I'm considering a Maxpedition Sitka as a new daypack to slim down my carry when I'm not going to school. Spare CR123A in the pill fob and a 4Sevens Quark Reg 123 w/ prism for hands free usage. I use the Quark in my pocket sometimes as well, I just keep the prism in one of the strap pockets :D.

"...and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you..."

...and makes you buy more Kifaru stuff.

Built like a tank... and I love how the top lid kind of rolls/folds back on itself, great access and doesn't flop into your way, no matter how loaded the lid pockets are.

Off topic. @Schaferhund I just visited your homepage (I assume it’s your homepage that you’ve linked to in your signature). I really liked it, both the page itself but foremost the music (still assuming that it’s you singing and playing. Good either way). Great stuff. O0

Sorry guys for going off topic. I just had to get it out there. Check it out.
