Honestly I'm considering the 2 banger for a little more space? The cross body is super minimal which I like because I tend to over complicate things. Only thing about the 2 banger that concerns me is the dedicated mag space with the flaps. Seems as though it's not an ideal spot to store anything other than ar mags? Maybe the right sized ifak? Was actually hoping to find somebody I could ask those questions to. I'm about to pull the trigger on another custom ifak that'll use a Magpul DAKA pouch in conjunction with an ITS tactical zipper pouch and loose tourniquet that should fit in the main pouch of the cross body. Sweet. The thing I hate about the Moab is the strap. I'd probably go for it with a traditional shoulder strap. Can the sling strap be quickly removed or does it need to be surgically removed? I had a similar experience with the maxped Malaga but I never mustered the courage to cut it off. I just need a Moab 4 slim lol. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
no on the surgery, I installed metal d-rings on each end of the carry handle and use the loose end of the strap on a clip from another strap to carry it, much more comfortable and easier to put on and off. I also use the tier system straps to compress the bag if I'm carrying less stuff they also come in handy to attach a drink bottle and or umbrella when the bag is full

That's a nice cross patch!, hmm....when it comes to maxpedition I couldn't get myself compelled since most of the bag designs resemble those low key affordable brands and there's many of them like Roth, first tactical etc. Except you pay more for mapped! But there's a bag or call it a pouch I can't pass, the FR-1 medical kit, it holds a lot more like a light rain jacket, the design is also distinct from the competitors, 511 and the rest of the gang doesn't have something quite like it.
