My birthday is 5/1, and THAT birthday was one of the best! I still remember where I was...visiting my brother, who was in the USAF, in SC.
I really like the looks of that, I would use it as an insert into my other bags and as a quick grab and go with the essentials for quick jaunts. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
Nice! Do you think those OV Teeter will handle anything bigger than the 40oz bottle? Probably not that practical but I carry the 64oz usually in a roll up dump pouch on the front mostly but it is not nice at all. I think I need to get a few though either way as they clearly handle the 40oz or a 32oz Nalgene or just a Sport Bottle which I use every day too. Oh and now I guess I need to get better more detailed pics of mine too? Thanks.
I don't see why not, email the OV Innovations guys, they will more than likely have some pics of a 64oz in one of their pouches somewhere. They are really nice guys and I love their products as you can tell. I love my Teeter Pouches.
That's essentially how I'm using it! Loving it so far. It keeps my hands free to and from the truck. Sometimes I'll stuff it in the top of my Vertx Ready pack but it's mostly been slung crossbody. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Personally I like the compartment load out a little better. I like having that lower third separate one for my pens, pencils, sharpies and my moleskin notebook. I know the gamut also has the side pockets and more room but with that I also feel eventually I’d pack it out with extra stuff I don’t really need just cause it has the room So this is the perfect size( for me. now if it was my get home bag or BOB I might have gone gamut just so I could fit more. But for EDC.. the ready pack will be with me for a long time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks! I’m trying to figure out which vertx bag to get. Between the gamut and edc ready. Not sure of the differences for the 2.0. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Only had mine for a couple of days now, but I don't think I'd change anything... Pat was kind enough to offer one customization that wasn't even on the list... I don't regularly carry a laptop, so he made the rear laptop sleeve separate; it attaches to the back wall via velcro! This brand isn't getting the attention it deserves IMHO, but I hope that changes soon... Just have to overcome the crazy shipping from Malaysia. That having been said, I still feel the build quality is on par with TomBihn, so you're really getting the money's worth.
Hey Chris thanks for posting this... BTW is that the Shadow Grey color? I saw these last year. I finally picked one up, but had to immediately return it. The main zipper was totally jacked up, crunchy, sticky, and not at all smooth for a supposed YKK. Completely unusable, it was that bad. Oh well, I hope the replacement is fine because for the hour that I had it, I liked what I saw. They sure packed a lot of details into it. Also, I was suprised to find out that for a pack this size it has an aluminum stay.
Yes it is shadow grey. I’m assuming you maybe got a defective one. Zippers on mine are working properly. That aluminum stay is definitely one of the reasons I went with this pack. I’ve only worn it on quick trips so far. Home to car and car to office. I’m hoping to take it out on a longer trip this weekend depending on weather conditions to really test it out.
