Love my Kato.
I miss the SoCal weather on nights like this. It'll get down to 5 degrees here tonight.

Pretty sweet set up. I love all the admin organization. Not a big fan of the flap OVER the molle attachment points though. I would imagine it makes it hard to close with pouches etc. in place. But, were I using a larger tablet I would definitely consider this an option.
By the way, does this bus go to Square One?
The Saddleback briefcase is for work and the Frost River canvas backpack is more of a utility bag. The contents of this bag change often. The beverage is to aid me in not caring if the photo is blurry.

Very nice setup you've got there.
Come on , we need alteration and upgrade details
I ordered the shoulder strap and sewed it in place because it kept sliding too much. That also allowed me to use the velcro holds from the strap to attach things. I also ordered a repair buckle from Duraflex to add to the strap and bottom of bag for quick detach of shoulder strap. The back laptop compartment inside was really too small for anything other than a tablet, which I don't use or have, so I remove the little panel part and sewed in 2 molle velcro panels I got from Vertx to better utilize that back panel. All that being said, it was still too small for my needs.. Luckily I was able to sell it to a friend of mine lol. I'm currently using the Riftcore as my main EDC and will likely get the Vanquest Envoy 13 when it rolls out next month.

Awesome love a bit of bag modding.
Currently planning to out fit my Rush 24 with Fidlocks ,I've already done this with the Chest strap
Needed some additional admin space.. The ERZ works perfectly and looks great.

Depends if I'm working, hiking, camping, offroading or just going somewhere overnight.
The echo stays in my jeep, great for tools.
I was recently gifted a nice leather flask bag, I should post a picture later.
Though my girlfriend would be upset if I EDC'd the flask...
Custom Mod wisport sparrow II 20l
Sewn Extra loop on top area + diy plastik loop copying whiskey24 loopanywhere
Sewn extra D ring for lock
Sewn mid compartment with all loop
Replaced zipper with locking type
Still looking for tablet size adminpouch with buckle to be used as removable shoulder bag like this one
Love that ,was the zipper swap hard work?
Maybe a maxped Remora and add fidlock for docking
Yes it is, the zipper safe guard fold inside is thick, so gotta use good sewing machine, overall its frankenstein-ing new bag, especially adding loop on mid compartment, total removal of original lining.
nowadays hard to find bag with good air circulation on the back, 4 compression strap, total clamshell opening, all compartment line with loop, zipper flap for rain precaution and locking zipper for safety on flight. And modularity option.
The closest one right now is 5.11 amp 12 but with non cordura material + expensive
Agreed I'm slowly modding my rush 24 ,I also prefer the look and profile of these bags over the newer softer anti tactical look.
I just want durable tough drag and throw packs not a metrosexual gym commuting bag
How do you like the Covert 18? I’m thinking of getting one for my son when he heads to college.
Love the Covrt !8. Very Sturdy and comfortable. Should make a great bag for school.. Like them so much, that I bought 2.
