I keep medicine in them like Advil, Allergy meds, naproxen, etc. etc.

They are Zipfizz brand tubes which I get from Sam’s and Amazon. They are energy powder you pour into a bottle of water and all of their flavors come in different colors which I have stockpiled to use for meds and other small items. They’ll even fit toothpicks, batteries, and other small things.

Have one too. Love it. Ever figure out what the middle loops between the mid-compartments are for?

Just got the same one, I’m very impressed with it. It’s truly a Rush 12 2.0.

I’m loving mine, so far the only gripes I have, is I wished the zippers on the two front pockets closed the other way so that the zippers aren’t at the top of the front. And I wished the front admin area zippers came all the way down the sides so it could clamshell open wide like the 12 does. Other than those very minor complaints, I’m loving it. I did write First Tactical and asked that they consider making a sleeve for tablets to put in the hang thru pocket. I rigged up my 5.11 tablet sleeve to hold my iPad in the hang thru pocket to and from work.

I actually removed the back frame from mine so that I could carry a computer in the rear more safely, the piece is so stiff and curved that I was afraid it might snap a computer in half while I wore the pack!

So I then took a 3 week trip with the bag this way and discovered that you do not want to carry with the back stiffening part removed!

Without the stiffener frame in there the shoulder straps really do not work and the bag just pulls itself up through the clever suspension and tries to choke the wearer and the bag every second it is carried?
It is hard to explain really but I ended up having to carry mostly with the great side grad handles and I even rigged a shoulder strap through the Molle instead of wearing the pack which was truly crippled without the frame!

So while the bags are advertised as having the extra feature of that great frame that can be removed and used as a splint etc. this also renders the bag almost impossible to carry which is somehow not advertised as well.

Despite this unfortunate "Learning Experience" I like these bags so much I am still using mine every day if I can!

Carried my generation one every day for about three years now. By the way those side pockets are actually made for beer bombers.

That is the largest backpack I've ever seen. It dwarfs the lamp. I guess had great capacity, though.
