Cons it sticks out its slightly bulky it may hit into things and kinds throws off the clean lines of a pack.
This one was attached to a black remora my wife used as her bag for 5 years with no issues.
Pros its versatile you can carry a water bottle , water filter and cup and much more .
When i go in the car the bag is clipped onto the front seat the water bottle comes out into the car for use , the holder becomes a phone holder while i drive and charge

If you can stand the looks and profile go Maxped IMHO

Great. I've been looking at the GR1 and was trying to decide on the grey or black. That bag is bada$$. I guess I'll have to wait for the wolf grey to get back in stock.

    Very nice! :)
What's the purpose of the cover over the MOLLE (which I suppose is the Sterile transporter tail)? Is it to hide the MOLLE?

Yep, I think it's intended for those people who want to 'de-tacticalise' their TAD packs - I understand that it can be fitted on the FAST packs, as well as both Litespeed version.

It's got the small sleeve pocket that all transporter tails have, on the reverse side

Thanks! :) If only it could be attached to the MOLLE underneath so it wouldn't be visible on the sides ...

Yeah, although it seems bigger in coverage than the standard PALS tail - The standard version has a very pronounced hourglass shape which I presume is to enable the mounting of pouches across both the tail and packfront, the sterile version has less curving on the sides, but some PALS still shows.

Also make a handy pocket in which to store helmet, jacket, etc.

This bag has been on my radar for a long time; seeing these pictures is really making me want to spring for one. I'd really like to see a comparison between this one (or non CC version, the Urban Assault) and the Alpha One Niner Evade. Does anyone own both bags that can chime in?

I own and have owned many bags. What I've discovered is that the amount of items I carry is in direct proportion to the size of the bag. In other words, if I were to EDC a 55 gallon drum, it would have 56 gallons of something in it. I now use the bag needed for the environment and task at hand.

That being said, the bag I carry every day is one that blends in well and does not warrant a second look due to Molle, patches, etc.
I pay close attention to what others are using to transport their gear in public. Military and "Tactical" looking bags scream "gun". Bags with cool patches draw me closer so I can check them out. All things I want to avoid. Don't look at me, leave me alone.

I've used sling bags and have found that they do not pass my crawl, run, climb, jump, bike test without seriously moving around. Carrying a sling bag of a size large enough to house my needs didn't promote comfort either.

My bag journey has brought me to the below. It's a Tom Bihn Synapse 19. I have the 25 also and use it when I'm the designated mule, but the 19 is my friend. It's large enough to carry everything I need to compliment most situations, but small enough to stay a part of me. It cleans up nice and the build quality is outstanding. It stays firmly in place to facilitate pursuit, or E&E. I use Vanquest org gear inside, which is another product line that impresses me.

My above statements come from my personal experience and in no way should be considered a criticism of what others carry and like.

I really like the look and compartments of the North Face Router pack but I would like something made out of Cordura (say 500D). Does anything like that exist, please? :)
PS: I've got the Osprey Quasar and I don't like the fabric the pack is made of.

I'm thinking about getting a maxpedition falcon 2, and feel a bit confused about the colors. Does anyone know if "green" and "OD green" are the same color?
