Speaking from a personal perspective, I carry glow sticks because they're cheaper and I don't particular care if I have to leave one behind - I can pick up another box on Amazon and have it on my doorstep in two days.

Tritium, while really cool, seems to be a massive :censored: to order from the US. I still haven't found anyplace I trust with a credit card to buy trit from.

I have not needed to buy one for some time but I just ordered them off the eBay. They are great to find your stuff at night. Just don't bother with the Realtor small ones as they are not bright enough.

Yes much cheaper and easier to get. I've never had a problem importing them but technically they are restricted. I use them to mark my gear and so I can find more important gear inside my bag in the dark. Since they don't need sum to recharge like glow in the dark does they are the perfect fit for that. If you need to mark a perimeter, glow sticks are much better.

The loop panel is a good idea, but go with gray instead of black

My current EDC Bag is the Maxpedition Operator Tactical Attaché. I have been thinking of going a little less tactical. With the current world situation I'm thinking it might be prudent to be a little less conspicuous . . . fly under the radar so to speak as I am moving around my AO . . .

    Hhhmmm decisions decisions . . .

This pic brings back some memories. I had the same bag for 20+ years and carried it everywhere for at least 10 of those years, probably over 500k air miles and 40+ states. I just recently sold it on the bay as it wasn't getting used anymore. It was a little rough looking but held up very well and had lots of miles left. I think it sold for almost what I paid for it, kinda crazy. Filson makes great stuff and it gets better over time. Enjoy, it's a great looking bag.

    Hi
Is this a bag you purchased recently?
If so, any chance you could send me a link or tell me what it's called?
    Thanks very much!

I don't see anything in it with a name or brand or model. I wanted to find out myself, but there's just no info. It was from Staples, probably a year ago or a little more.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that velcro backed pen/notebook organizer?

Very interested in this bag, how is it treating you a year later? I'm liking this bag as well as the Timbuk2 Command. Care to share an update on how it's performing for you?
