Interesting link/reading, thanks. Absolutely my fault,....now where did I leave my water bottle, I'll have to take a picture of that and get us back on track. Lol
^^^^^^ I also AGREE TO DISAGREE! You live in Florida. I would not expect anything different from you! I will tell you this, you are no doubt in the MINORITY on this subject, whether you have a Husky or not. It would be like having a Greyhound in Siberia! lol! Where do you get cold weather in Florida.Texas or the California desert???? The dogs are not made or bred for that environment. I can not see how someone could argue that. Sure,,,keep them inside most of the time in the AC!! These are working Dogs. I see how my Dog acts in the hot weather and in the Cold weather. He is MUCH more exuberant, happy and energetic in the cold weather. I said ALL that I need to say,,,,,,,,,,I do not want to hijack OP'S thread anymore.
Quite nice Nalgene. My first actually, I used to carry Finnish army canteen. Nalgene has zero leakage and nozzle locks good and proper.
LOL. I wouldn't refill them too many cycles though if I were you. Plasticizers DO leach out! L'chaim! Moshe ben David
Honestly I use a smart water bottle with the flip cap. They can be rinsed and used for weeks until the cap breaks. Easily opened one handed for driving. I have several nalgenes and cool containers and they're collecting dust. They're better suited for my hike or camping needs.
I can relate. I picked up a couple of Rubbermaid water bottles at the super market; I was particularly attracted to the flip cap for the same reason. Also, we use enough Rubbermaid kitchen storage products that I felt comfortable with how they can be cleaned and reused. Far less expensive than any water bottle you'd find at REI or similar as well! I received this one as a Christmas gift from a business associate. So it is branded, but with a logo I like and it is stainless steel all the way, even the top. No plastics whatsoever. I dismissed it at first because it's only half a liter, but the ergonomics on that thing are so good that I started using it. It's a perfect fit in my hand and the bottleneck/mouthpiece is just perfect for drinking. I live in an area where the tapwater quality equals bottled water, so the next refill is never too far off.
Grabbed this at the local Walmart. Was only $15 similarly sized water bottles from other companies are in the $50-$70 range and the reviews Ive seen put the level of keeping things cool with the higher priced stuff. Also have my Hydroflask 40oz also today heading to do work in Baltimore.... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Ain't got pics of the actual one. Just imagine a Klean Kanteen wide mouth 40oz., that' it. Yes, i'm always thirsty ...
I use the 1 Liter smart water bottles when I go hiking or camping. Two can slide right inside my pack and don’t take up a ton of space. I get my son a couple of 20oz Gatorade bottles. He gets his fill up from the electrolytes and then he fills them up with water. At 10 if he loses a Gatorade bottle it’s cheaper than a Nalgene. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
