I think that the clip that came with my EX10 is a little bigger than I would prefer. I plan to replace it with a McGizmo SS clip. I may just end up ordering a selection from JSBurly's, but I would like to get some idea of what size I want.

Can someone out there with an EX10/D10 clip, some McGizmo clips, and some camera skills post a picture comparison?

    Thank you in advance.

Woah, these are shipping with clips already? Not to hijack your thread, but could you take a picture of the EX10 with clip? If it looks anything like the render on CPF, it should look sweeeet! :D

Are you talking about the much rumored pocket clip? or the clip that came on the Nitecore lanyard (pic below)?

I have found that the McGizmo clips are too thick for the EX/D10 holes. I was going to use one with my D10. I tried the smaller of the SS clips that is marked with a 1 (I don't remember the mm size), but it didn't move around as easy as the stock clip that is thinner. I hope that helps.

Ah, my bad if you're talking about the lanyard clip. I just assumed you meant a pocket clip.

I didn't really like the clip that came with the Nitecore lanyard but had the same problem with the McGizmo clips being too big.

I wound up using a smaller stainless split ring (the one on the left in the pic above, the stock one is in the center) and a Spro 200# swivel to make a lanyard that I could attach a larger, more belt loop friendly McGizmo clip to. I think this is the biggest one (mini clip).

    I have a similar request/question,

Can anyone show a pic of the ex10 clip AND a McGizmo clip together?

This is the Nitecore clip and a McGizmo "mini" clip (the same size as the one on the lanyard above, 34mm). I've got some smaller ones but they are all attached to other gear at the moment.

The micro (25mm) or nano (20mm) clips would be closer in size to the Nitecore.

I'll also try and put up a pic. I have every size of McGizmo clips including the Ti ones. Hopefully that will help.

From left to right are the jewel clip (15mm), nano clip (20mm), D10 lobster clip, micro clip (25mm), Ti26 (26mm), Ti45 (45mm).

    Rico,

Thank you for the picture! It looks like the Jewel clip may be small enough to fit through the lanyard hole, but I doubt that it could reach the clip slot to allow the light to tail stand.
