You're welcome Ben. For the softbox i need to get a few sheets of construction paper because the fabric is not white, it's more beige. I read some reviews about the Nissin and a Metz Mecablitz (don't know the exact Type). The reviews of the Nissin where by far better then the ones of the Metz and it was cheaper.
I used to use Metz flashguns when I was shooting weddings back at the beginning of digital. They were really good. I had understood though that the company had gone bust?
There were several reviews which stated an fault with the internal flash focusing. That was the main thing i heard of them.

Thanks survivorman Yeah the little thingy is pretty darn bright for it's size. I blinded myself a few times with it already.

So if we once upon a time in the future will finally have a DACH forum meet up you’ll be the chef de la cuisine?
Uh oh. Wasn't in the market for a flashlight, but between these pics and the latest post by grunch...
Olights/batons been getting a lot of loving on the forums lately. I've seen them everywhere as well.... too bad the clip is on the wrong side.
Doooooo it..... Seriously, this is a pretty no-brainier purchase. The exotic materials are a nice upgrade but not too expensive, or the standards aluminum is a unbeatable deal!
I can fully support the statement that grunch made. It's small, lightweight and for it's size amazingly bright. So go ahead and add it to your shopping cart.
