Thanks for the massive like strike. i'm pretty sure you will like those eggs. The screws are all gone, but somehow i have some of the wooden dowels left.
Love the patch on your dog (and the dog also), he looks like a great companion! How happy are you with the stropping results? Do you feel like it made a difference in final sharpness?
Sorry for the late response, was pretty busy around christmas time. Yeah my dog is a great companion. The two patches are pretty much my dogs lifestyle. She is a ball-junkie and you aren't allowed to feed her goodies because she has a cereal allergy. I'm pretty pleased with the stropping results for my kitchen knives. Cutting like laser through meat and veggies. For my pocket knives i prefer a rougher edge for better cutting performance in utility tasks.
Happy Healthy Safe and Happy can't have too much Happy New Year! Much gear, much joy, much of all the best!
Finally i could post some pics of my christmas gifts. Got those gifts from my wife. Fiskars SW75 extractable saw Nalgene 1.1l stainless steel bottle Bushcraft book Lego Star-Wars mini Walker aaaaand a 3D-puzzle of Neuschwanstein Castle
Build myself a softbox for photography. Starting material. 6m slats which measure 17x35 mm screw it together and get some fabric and lights on it.
Also got me some stuff for myself on christmas. A GND-filter for the cam. a new flash for the cam Nissin i40 aaaaand a new knife. Victorinox Handyman
Wonderful pics, especially the waterfall! In February I'll visit Bavaria (for business), but I think I stay a day longer for hiking "im Nachbarwald".
Thanks mate, the waterfall is the weir of the little river in Dinkelsbühl. I have to say that i never was wether in the Bavarian forest nor in the Schwarzwald, but i'm pretty sure that this will change in the next few years.
Thanks for the zillion likes too! Good job on the softbox as well, that Nissin is a good unit, I'll buy one of those myself one day, have been lazy on that front. It's the model I need for my Sony.
