Mail calls today.
NiteCore Intellicharger i4. Capable of loading nearly any kind of Li-ion accus and of course normal ones.
Mail call from, i think, MangeD700.
Some sweets, a dog toy made of some sort of fire-hose, a nylon bag with knifes and a leather bag with some nice little goodies.
Nylon bag contents:
A stainless orange Mora Companion and 2 Mora whittling knives.
The curved one was on my wishlist for this christmas, too glad that my wife didn't order already.
Content of the leather bag:
Raincover for the backpack, some steelwool, foldable Vapur bottle, little level for the camera, can opener, armsling,
small package of dressing, Trangia stove, magnesium/ferro-rod combo, a small leather pouch for a knife, tin of maya dust with firestone and char-cloth, candle, little compass and last but not least, as the package is from sweden, the swedish IKEA pencil.
Thank you very, very much.
Do you have to construct the Ikea pencil before use?
Did it fall apart during use?
No it came fully assembled.
Still going strong.
Some pics of the weekend.
upside down photo:
Also found my first geocache on sunday.
And i broke in and ordered an Olight S1 in bead-blasted titanium.
Those ikea pencils are good, I burn with shame to recount just how many my kids 'appropriate' on every ikea visit I actually stock up on the paper tape measures. I've got them spread out all over the house. Surprisingly useful.
Yes, the tape measure and the pencils are pretty useful especially when you have to mark something on a rough stonewall.
You just don't bother when they're gone.
That was odd, I was certain I've been here before but I must have been lurking offline some time then. Corrected that now
Great gear and pics anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed all your outdoors- and travel-pics so thanks for sharing!
This freaked me out a little at first though:
But after googling what they are I really want to try them now!
