Where would someone get such a patch? That is very cool indeed and I could use one for my military job.
Not sure. I think one of my medipeeps gave that one to me. I've got a few that are moto junkies that throw stuff like this around.
Hi, it's actually reflective and looks great when a light is shined on it. I got mine from Echo Niner, who do some great gear. The also do a Media one and a PAO one which is a good one for the military http://store.eniner.com/echo-niner-patches/
These are great! Really enjoyed seeing your patches. I spent a while trying to find a decent CA flag patch, when I stumbled across this one: I've been looking for a couple more patches to go on either side; I'm really digging the PVC style patches. If you guys are interested, I bought this one on Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/CALIFORNIA-STATE-FLAG-PVC-PATCH/dp/B0121EAKBG) and I'm pretty sure they have every state in this style.
Here's mine. Had the patch made by a lady in China via eBay. Turned out great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anyone know of a quality site to get Multicam name tapes and flag patches. Trying to decide if I want IR. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
Some new additions. And some choice pins. The Dragon Egg is my newest day pack, the Maxpedition Malaga is the truck bag and the CamelBak MULE is the mountain biking pack. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Baofeng UV5R5. Cheap Amazon dual band radio. Not half bad for about 40 bucks. Shorty Nagoya antenna. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
What do you use it for? I've always wanted to get some cool radio gadget to fiddle around with but have no clue where to start.
I have wanted to get into HAM radio, so I bought one to monitor local repeater frequencies and get a feel for how it all operates. I've been meaning to study up and take the exam and get licensed to transmit. Ham radio is super cool, and becoming more and more necessary with all these disasters and comms grids going down like in Texas and Florida from the storms. Wishing like hell I had been licensed on our convoy from Florida to Texas after Harvey. I've programed the MURS and FRS unlicensed frequencies in and use them with friends for short range comms. These are the same frequencies used in blister pack Walmart radios but with better internals and better functionality.
