Benchmade will not sell to me. One of the last things they said to me was they were getting so much link traffic from the forum that they didn't need to work with us.

Wow just another reason for me to not buy their knives!

Have you tried contacting Great Eastern Cutlery or Canal Street? GEC does lots of special factory orders & they already have glow in the dark scales in their inventory. Cost would be very reasonable & their quality is top notch. Just a thought for future years. Love the Queen this year & I will be picking one up!

I'd like to see forum knives from small, traditional American made vendors. If I had been paying more attention lately I would've picked up a queen the first time. Probably will the second time if money permits it. If GEC does a forum knife then I think that'll be a real big deal and if it happens I'll snatch that sucker up quickly.

That's pretty crazy. Well, Jon can count on Spyderco to do the right thing. That's kind of their thing.

If you could get a steady supply of the moonglow, I wonder if you could create some sort of a collaboration model and get your name out there.

I thought I heard at one time that either Spyderco didn't want to work with the Moonglow because it is difficult to work with... or that there were supply issues with getting the Moonglow. I know the Second run Manix had a more transparent/less glowy material on it.
