...years ago when I was a teenager..I should say decades ago..anyway I was just your average everyday bloke who liked beer, motorcycles, and chicks.
Long story short is I broke up with my girlfriend of 4 years, and she quickly moved on to one of my mates. He was one of those tall skinny, dark haired blokes ..with big hands, big feet, and ..umm well we used to call him "Tripod".
Julie, my ex, and I stayed good friends after we broke up, and one evening at one of the many Saturday night drinking parties we all used to have she got fairly toasted on goon bag wine, and she was talking to me that ever since going out with Stewart she said that, and I quote, "I think I need a bigger box"...
Honestly I think the $50 cap is fine it doesn't price anyone out of the market, but here's my main concern. Say you have a shoe box filled to the brim with knives and torches and pocket tools each valued at around $100-200. And that box goes missing. A shoe box full of knives like that would have a value of say $5-10k? We'd need to insure the box each post which would add I don't even know how much to the cost of postage. And we'd probably have to list each item and its value at the time of postage.
Or... (how's this for a crazy idea?) People could take more bulky things and trinkets _from_ the box...
Now that's an idea lol
Because I'm getting the before and after photos there's a couple of items im hoping are still there when it gets to me, but I'm not saying what they are because if someone else wants them I want them to take them lol
Let's keep it modest and not too pricey. Otherwise as cheeser says we stand to lose to much (and probably increase the interest of thieving fingers).
Don't we already have one of those?
The Grand Fromage that begun this caper?
If we chose otherwise It's not like we have a shortage of honest citizens between law enforcement officers, firemen and priests.
We has priests?
Mr cheeser has already done a mighty job and to assume he would now like to spend more time and adjudicate each deposit and withdrawal prior to it taking place for two boxes might be a bit unfair. That is not just evidence pics of tos and fros but also nominated values. Your a better man than I am Gunga Din for sure. OK that's not saying much and I'm not suggesting you had this in mind for our esteemed cheeser.
I jammed it pretty good. How did you go with the tape? The Esee come out?
Now thats funny. But true.
I thought that would get you in lol
Your are right of course HF, and all of this is hypothetical anyway. One box to rule them all...and in the darkness bind them (with lots of tape). Even if it's split in half.
Yes, it was packed in tight, and I did use the Esee, thought you used medical tape to seal it all in.
you didn't tell Cheeser my postal address
I don't need that.
....... Do I?
Seems I didn't do much. That will teach me for not reading the rules.
Is that sarcasm?
Cheeser doesn't need his postal address, buuut we do need some photo's!
