How does the Ozark at 40 bucks compare to the LM Wave (it was based on when the patent expired) at over 100?

The Ozark takes standard bits which would be a plus for me. Thanks.

I don’t have this item. I did buy 2 Ozark Trails “shaft lock” aka Benchmade Axis lock since the patent has expired for $6.74 each. The build quality was better than I expected but the blade steel was significantly lower in quality compared to my Benchmade. I suspect multi tool is using a lower quality steel.

I would check YouTube for some reviews of this model before purchasing.

Not all of their products are junk. Their tumblers and ice chests are on par to the overpriced yeti counterparts.

As for their knives from my experience I wouldn't expect much. They tend to use pretty low quality steel. They make a good beater knife that you don't have to care about damaging or losing.

The Ozark trail Mt got one thing right that leatherman didn't, the plier head position at the narrow end doesn't pinch your hand with the spine of the blades. Junk notwithstanding.

I bought one after reading a comparison review. I every day carry the original Wave in the leather sheath. The biggest dislike is the size of the nylon sheath on the Ozark Trail so it is rarely on my belt. I think I paid $35.00 for it so lf it got lost, it ts no where near the hit that losing the Wave would be (been there, done that). Bill C
