If we're talking "wheel guns," definitely my 4inch barrel, S&W 686-6 .357 mag. with rare round butt, target sites, Hogue grips and super crisp ( single) and smooth (double) action trigger job.

That's not a trigger, that's a touch sensitive pressure switch.

It physically moved a seer the way all guns do. But, yeah. In use it felt like that.

Obviously not viable for a lot of guns. But, man is it nice.

Okay, so....Olympic air and free rifles are one thing. They actually have a limit in the rules (70g, or about 2.3 oz). Mine were just enough over that it was easy to pass equipment inspection. The best high end, custom 1911 I've ever felt takes about 10x the pressure to fire it.

Free pistols are a whole different matter.

They do not have a limit, or at least they didn't when I was competing.

You could LITERALLY blow on the trigger hard enough to disengage the seer and send the firing pin forward.

Not long after I started, one of the guys that got me into practical shooting made fun of my safe but competitively lousy trigger control. Yes, I have the experience of over a quarter million incredibly good trigger presses in my life, easily.

If I used my well practiced trigger control on my run of the mill 1911, the gun would never fire. I was slapping it because that was the only way it would do anything.

ETA: this gigantic training scar is also the reason I don't own a PPK. My hand cannot deal with the 11lb DA pull, and I send the first round several feet low at self defense distances.

Whatever....IMVHO, there are a lot of better (though not necessarily more beautiful) guns all over the place.

My favorite is my CZ 75D PCR. Great all around shooter. The trigger has really smoothed out over time, and it is very accurate.

I oddly only own two at the moment . A G19.3 and an H&K VP9 . Once I get more rounds through the VP9 . The Glock may go down the road and get turned into another HK .

Even though I will EDC my G17, my Walther PPQ M1 9mm is my favorite...and my wife's favorite, which is why I carry my G17.

I wanted that PPQ for like 4 or 5 years before I finally got it so that probably has something to do with it.

Favorite for what? It's a tool, and has pretty specific uses like all tools. That pontification being made, if I could only have one it would be my pre-rail Sig 229 9mm/.357Sig/.40 S&W. Favorite to shoot, EAA Witness Elite 10mm. Favorite to backpack or hike into bear country (big bears) S&W 629-4 3" barrel.
