So I frequent this forum, and I enjoy it quite a bit. I'm interested in knives, flashlights, bags, watches and pens/pencils mostly and I'm thankful for such a great community that includes all these interests. I also visit Bladeforums and CandlePowerForums, because they have great communities as well. Can anyone recommend other large forum communities based on my other specific interests? I'd love to find a good bag, watch, or pen based forum, especially if they have robust buy/sell/trade forums as well. Thanks.
I don't know about bags and pens, but the Jungle Training Forums are fun to read. I lurk there more than I lurk here. I can only think of less than 5 posts I've made there but I visit probably daily.
I ******* love butterfly knives! I'll take a look, thanks. Yeah... got that one, thanks. True, I'll check it out. Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
Well, not to bash CPF, but I prefer BudgetLightForum myself. A more laid back bunch over there if you ask me. And just as knowledgeable if you discount me. Plus, it is, ostensibly, self-moderating, so you don't have to deal with the moderator's egos; unlike the mods here who don't seem to be on a power trip. http://budgetlightforum.com/
This really is my favorite forum. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. I check this forum even after I know I've read everything. haha. I think I've posted only once or twice in the last few years on bladeforums and maybe 10 times since joining JungleTraining this month. I lurk a lot over at those two, but I post fairly regularly (maybe once every other day) here.
You are not alone brother. When we win that $500 million we will buy every member 10 of each piece of gear. That is the only solution.
If you like cool gadgets & got money to burn check out the USN. It's a diff setting but cool in its own right.
I submitted an application for entry there but I never got a response. I forgot all about it until you mentioned it.
i read a bunch of mountain bike, gun, and vintage scooter forums (my wife and i have 3 vintage vespas), most i do not even register to.
For all kinds of guns and, well, just about everything else, AR15.com Glocktalk.com is good for all kinds of gun info (not just Glocks), also, TheFiringLine.com multitool.org for - you guessed it. garagejournal.com for all kinds of garage, tool, car, etc., topics The forums at the ArtOfManliness.com aren't bad. Leatherworker.net if you're into doing leatherwork. I haven't found a forum anywhere that's as well-rounded and inclusive of my interests as EDCf, though.
