I need a new jacket. Something nicer than a hoodie. Something a little less flashy than my neon yellow windbreaker. Something a little less shiny and nylon than my raincoat. I need an old man jacket. Dressy enough to wear into church, but casual enough to throw over a t-shirt at a ball game. I've had them before, but I am looking for a bit more quality. Not a full rain jacket, but I am not a fan of the look of fleece. If money was no object I'd have a custom tweed jacket made...but alas. As a last note, 6'2" and 320 lbs. Big and tall. Any suggestions? Thanks, Grizz
You could take a look at LL Bean, good destination for "Dad clothes". Not quite sure what you are looking for, but their "bomber jacket" and "warm-up jacket" products are pretty straight up casual jackets, with fleece lining but the outer shell is a smooth cloth. You could always check typical men's clothing stores for blazers, tweed jackets, or other casual dress jackets. Some cater to big-tall customers so maybe start there.
Big man on campus. I would look at a 3/4 length like the Dean coat from Wested leather. https://wested.com/en-ca/collections/other-film-jackets/products/supernatural-style-dean-winchester-jacket-3462-p Have a look at their web page. Lots of great options with great prices as well. Johnny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Check out the Eddie Bauer x Huckberry. Just got mine, timeless design. https://huckberry.com/store/eddie-bauer
Chore / barn jacket from Dickies, Carhartt or other workwear brand ? Barbour style british waxed jacket ? M65 jacket ? Plenty of options.
I’d think a black pea coat would do. Loads of different variations on the theme, with prices from cheap to a grip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
