I did try to get the kids to eat it before we burned it but I couldn't get any takers.
It looks like you forgot to add wood and make real s'mores.
You are correct. I was so focused on making the fire starters I didn't even think about having stuff for smores, then when we were outside watching it burn the kids all wanted smores. Oops, maybe next time.
I just ordered my first knife of 2016! It's actually the first knife I've bought since Thanksgiving.
I definitely saw those and though "OOOO smores!" then saw them on fire and got really confused. "Why is he letting it burn so much, they wont taste good anymore...."
Thanks that was my goal, a fire starter that looked like a smore and burned longer than the commercial version I copied the idea from.
Details please! Any hints?
OD green linen Micarta.
Always impeccable taste.
Look forward to seeing pics.
I think you will like it, in fact I almost ordered two so when you decide you want one after they sell out I can sell it to you for triple!
For today's muddy hike.

Yous a thinkin' man!
That Northwoods has the most incredible wood!
It's one of my favorites, functions well with a nice CPM154 blade yet looks nice and disappears in the my pocket.
I had a newer one in blue bone but I just didn't like it as much as this one so I sold it.
Another favorite for today's hike.

My beloved extra fine point gel pens didn't do so well for this, glad I had the Fisher in my pocket.

Hmm I thought of buying Exotac's candles, then realised I can get those cans they use to heat chafing dishes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chafing_fuel - not sure of their proper name - much cheaper locally. Aren't those also great for portable fire?
I've only seen those used to warm food I doubt they get hot enough to really cook on.

At the risk of asking a stupid question...is No Agenda gone? No avatar; the goodbye message. The reason I ask is because of some recent forum guideline reminders to several members - not criticizing, merely pointing it out. Anyone have any Intel?
