Honestly, I don't carry it much in the "traditional" meaning of the word. It comes with a holster which I have used a couple of times in investigating animal related disturbances where I live - twice a group of racoons, fighting/playing under an adjacent building, just ran when I turned this thing on full. It is stationed at my desk where I can use it to light up the entire field outside my second story window.

Glad to hear another happy consumer :D

My brother and I have always been in a competition. He uses a Streamlight Pro Tac X. He will definetly have me on throw distance.

If his cr123s aren't dead!!! They don't sell them locally.

Pretty much the exclusive reason I went with the EA41

Just got my MT21, it's a really nice light! Remarkable throw for AA's. My old maglite that it is replacing could just about do the lowest mode of this Nitecore :D

Their TM36 is on my wishlist - but beyond my budget, at the moment :|

Turns out I have become a fan of Nitecore, specifically the Explorer line. Just ordered another EA11 and an EA21, both for bags I am putting together. AA's, good power, button activation for power and mode selection were the need to haves. The hold power for low, hold mode for turbo, hold both for lockout, voltage meter, reversible clips and red LED in the EA11 are all icing on the cake. I do kind of miss momentary on but for these being bag lights I can live with that.

I also have a couple of MT21a's but not a fan, really dislike twisty's but I got them for $20 each so couldn't pass them up.

SRT7 has been my main light for probably 18 months now.

My true edc is a Fenix LD12 but the SRT7 is what I actually use most of all.

Even when I buy new lights I keep coming back to it. I think it comes down to that wonderful magnetic control ring.

I have heard people hate on Nitecore but my experience with this light and my Nitecore charger have been great.

I even mount it on my rifle occasionally and it does an admirable job out to a real life 100-150m.

I did! I got the EC11 and the EA11. I ended up giving away the EC11 to a buddy of mine. It was kind of small and I had too many 1x123 lights anyway...I actually prefer the EA11. It has a little more to hold on to and that many lumens out of a AA is more awesome anyway!

I have a MH20 that is scheduled to land on my porch tomorrow also!

Just picked up my second NC.
I use a P12 for work, a better form factor and the tail switch is just the ticket when I inspect equipment.
I have EDC'd a EC11 for a week now. I am delighted to have so much power in such a tiny package. IMR 16350s make a good light great and I like the primary option.
    I'm becoming a NC fan.

This picture is missing the newly-acquired HC50, which has yet to arrive. I'll update, after it does :)

I just noticed that the EC11 doesn't appear to come with a clip. That's kind of a deal breaker for me, since I use the clip on my EA11, so I can easily find the two buttons, in the dark.

Edit - looks like the clip is included, after all. Thanks for the info, Gorram!

    Okay. Here we go:

    The newest Nitecore family shot:

The HC50 headlamp is the newest addition; but now, I'm lop-sided (only 11 lights...i HATE odd numbers); so I'm going to have to do something about that. I'm thinking, a P36 :D. Maybe next month...?

HC50, on the right, pictured next to Fenix HP25, on the left. It weighs wayyy less than the bulky 4-AA powered HP25. All metal construction. Five output modes, plus S.O.S., and beacon modes, and dual Red LED (solid, or blinking). Very nice! Now, I just need it get dark, so I can actually test it out.

Looks like it means business :D Because of the recessed power switch, you could tail stand it on either end, if you wanted/needed to. You could lay the rubber part flat on a desk, and have 180 degree movement, if so desired. You can rotate the light within that little rubber mount, while it's head-mounted. It feels solid, but light. Nice!
