Notice a real thumb stud and that great blade profile!

    STOUT clip!

I have pretty big paws so I make it look small. But in reality it's SMALL!

Based on this knife I see more CLB in my future!

Another KeyCom user! Bet you can't have just one. Who knows, you might end up with 1 of each of the CLB knives.

PS I got mines directly from Chad. Awesome dude!

Nice! I have one of them on order. Have to wait until next time I go to the US to pick it up though. :(

    ----

How did you get one direct from the designer?

Ohh... I see you make knives as well.

The Keycom is a nice knife. PBJS II is lucky to have one in hand. I was going to replace my cheap keychain knife with the Ladybug, but wasn't in a rush. Then I saw a thread on keychain knives here and saw the Keycom and needed it as soon as possible. :)

The KeyCom has a ton going for it. Small, fits well in hand, pocket clip, good looking, and SHARP! I think its about the best key chain knife on the market.

From time to time, Chad sells his knives here in the B/S/T forum.

One word of caution about the Keycon. It weighs so little you often forget you have it with you. There have been many times that I have to run down to the washing machine because I forgot my Keycom was clipped to my shirt pocket or waistband. I love the knife, I just carry too much and forget what was in my pockets.

I have one and while it's ok ..Much too Heavy for it's size..I prefer the Ladybug 3 or G-10 finch for this size.

Same goes for me! Chad is a great guy for sure.

If you ever get the chance to deal direct with him, you won't regret it. I have 5 Boker's I got direct from Chad, one of which he gave me as a gift.

The Keycom is 1-1/2" blade length and 1.4oz.
The Finch G10 is 1-7/8" blade length and 1.0oz.
The Ladybug is 1-15/16" blade length and 0.6oz.

The Keycom has a removable clip plus the torx screws which would remove some weight. I don't know what the clip and screws weight so how much I can't say for certain. No clips on the Finch or Ladybug. I think it is nice to have the option (personal preference).

The Keycom and Finch can be taken apart. Ladybug cannot be as it is pinned. Again I like to have the option (personal preference).

The Keycom and Finch seem to have about the same grade steel and price. The Ladybug has nice steel VG10 or H1 and it's higher price reflects this. The Finch and Ladybug have a little more blade length then the Keycom.

As a keychain knife all of them are fine choices and it really seems to come down to which do you like more. Personally the Keycom's design aesthetics makes me want it hanging from my keychain.

I should have said i prefer the lockback..It is a decent option but way to heavy for a keychain! The only thing i like about is the clip...And will trade mine for a g-10 finch if anyone is interested..They sometimes sell for $5 on ebay!
