I really dig ours. I picked it up because the refills are cheap and I like SS. It's definitely thin-walled (don't buy it and think it'll be as hefty as the SS Embassy Pen or something of the like), but it feels good in the hand, if not a bit slippery. There's no knurling of any kind.

I didn't know they made the thin refills for it. I've just used the regular marker refill.

    Hahaha.

I will probably have to get one of them. I didn't even know that they made a stainless steel Sharpie pen.

These aren't really new (I've had mine since last Christmas and they were out for a while before that), but they are very cool. I will probably pick up another one in case I lose mine since I can't imagine being without it now.

I've seen these in the stores but none of them have refills.

Actually, the link clearly shows a pen with a steel ferrule on the tip, like the Pilot razor point. I have been unable to find anything but the all-felt tipped marker which, as mentioned, has been around for awhile. Anyone have a source for the apparently new pen?

Is it just the same as the standard thin tip non-permanent pen?

I saw these at my local Walmart just a couple of days ago. They are definitely the pen in a ss body. A little longer and thinner than the marker.

I had to pick one of these up because I love the Sharpie Pens except for how slim they are and how long they are so this was a must for me. It feels better, it twirls better, and writes just as well as the originals.

I got rid of the first Stainless Steel Sharpie because of the cheap plastic chrome ring between the body and the cap. Both of mine ended up fracturing and/or chipping out. They still functioned but they looked like crap.

Well, Sharpie this time around heard my complaint about the first SS Sharpie and corrected it with this one as they used a black composite/plastic for in between the cap and the body.

I have to say this one is much better than my previous experience with the original SS Sharpie.

Less than $5 at Wally World

I like these SS Sharpies, but just be careful with the clip. It's got a weak join, and one day it just popped off as I was removing the Sharpie from being clipped to my pocket. I was sad.

I think I'm just genetically programmed to desire all pens made from stainless steel!

I tried one of these as well. Build quality was very disappointing... Clip broke, very weak design. Also, on mine the sleeve inside the cap would shift back and forth when re capping, causing the plastic insert on top to pop out. Oh well, another tossed in the drawer as I clip my trusty Zebra f-701 back in my shirt pocket.
