    Nice!

I have an Orange Monster and love it.

For the money Seiko is really hard to beat in any price category.

I've had mine for 2 years and it's probably the best watch I've owned.

Can't go wrong with a Seiko!
My black monster broke(my fault) and they covered it no problem. Great warranty on their part

Nice. I've been wanting an Orange Monster for quite a while but it's a bit out of my price range :(

Who knows how to correctly pronounce the name? Is it See-Ko? Psycho? Say-Ko?

Nothing like a big Seiko watch on your wrist. Makes a statement to say the least.

Tokina AT-X PRO DX 11-16mm F2.8 for Canon,,,,,,, it's a lens I lusted after for a long time and it is a great thing to use but it's just not getting the camera time I hoped,,, so it had to go

Seiko SKA371P1 Kinetic,,,,, it's got the accuracy of a digital but with the heft and charisma of an automatic. I guess I won't give it enough wrist time to keep the battery fully topped up to deliver a whole six month charge but it can go on the inductive toothbrush charger to do that :)

I've heard "psycho" a few times but "say-ko" seems to be the accepted standard.
    Beautiful watch! nice choice!

It was pronounced Say-ko when I bought my first Yellow faced Seiko Chronograph in Kobe' Japan in 1971 for £20. After many years the crown fell/broke off and I was quoted three times the original price to replace the part so I threw the watch away. I note those watches are now selling for £300!! I bought the same model again but with blue face,,,,, but I can't remember what happened to that one,,, it might be in the loft somewhere???

That lens is not the best choice for country landscape, portrait or close-ups,,, and as I live in the countryside that appears to be where most of my snaps are now taken,,,, but it's superb for architectural and urban pics. I originally got the lens for "urban decay" shots but since my legs have gone a bit wobbly I haven't risked stumbling around on questionable ground.

I'll miss the lens but I do hate lugging a bag full of glass around,,, so in a perverse way I'll welcome the compromises I have to make with the remaining choice of a EF 17-40 L USM and EF 28-135 IS USM and a set of Kenko Automatic Extension tubes for close work

This isn't the best pic but is an example of one taken at 11mm which works out at 17.6mm on my Canon 550 ,,,, f6.3 ISO 100 hand-held.
