    I can see your point. first off I have a khaki colored one and I dont use the leg strap.
    But ya I can see how I look strange and stand out in a crowd

    I wanted to report that after 10 days of using Thermite the bag is somewhat less rigid so there is no need to wash it in hot water, at least not until it is dirty.

    I wear it mostly over my shoulder like a messenger bag.

    How comfortable is it wear slung over your shoulder?

    To me it is maybe even more practical then wearing it around the waist. After wearing it for the whole day I presume that heavier Thermites would irritate the shoulder or the neck but mine is not very heavy so I do not have the need for paddings in that area.

    I did that a few times while at work (briefly) and it feels awkward to carry that way. It's definitely designed to wear off your waist/leg.

    I have to tell you that Thermite looks very big on this Maxped photo. Model must be a small guy.
