    Hello all,
I'm in need of a recommendation for a new single- cr123a light. I want something that is at least 300 lumens, a pocket clip, and has an easily accessible strobe function. If it doesn't have strobe it's not deal breaker. Let's keep it under 65.00 bucks. Anddddd GO!

Olight S1. 500 lumens, double click for strobe, pocket clip, 55 of your American Dollars. It will run rechargeables too.

Olight s10r baton 2 might be an option too? Similar to the s1 but comes with rechargeable battery for almost the same money

It's not failure if you learn something from it

I really like the Olight' as well but I know I can only EDC them in the 5th pocket in my jeans as the pocket clip snaps off to easily for me otherwise.
I prefer the Zebra SC32 in this size for the clip alone.
So I do carry an SC52 clipped to the pocket AND an S1 Baton in the 5th pocket these days, the Olight might be perfect if not for the clip for me.

Streamlight Protac 1L-1AA; dual battery capability (1AA or 1 CR123) good brightness, multiple modes (bright/strobe/low) - seems like a good one!

Good call on that one. I think I'm going to pick one up.

Also, the Nitecore MT1C should meet the OP's requirements.

Surefire g2x pro. It's bigger than the other mentions but it's reliability makes it worth considering.
Dual cr123, 15 lumen low on the first click 320 on the second, no strobe though. You can find them for $60, you'll have to spend another 15 for a raven concealment pocket clip but they are worth it. Heavy duty and you'll never have to worry about it bending or snapping like an olight clip.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Basically looking for a pocket EDC light to replace a small Jetbeam that has fallen into the abyss of lost items . I might add that anything over 600 lumens is a no go for me. I have lights that serve that purpose, but for this light being an EDC and more or less a back up to my weapon light, illuminating a light colored room with more than 600 lumens causes a lot of flash back and from a tactical stand point, is no bueno.

+1 for the Zebralight SC32. I'd go with the neutral tint version, personally.

I have an Olight S1in brass and an S mini in rainbow Ti and I really love them. The ti one is super light. I carry it clipped in my 5th pocket or just clipped to my regular pocket.

I love my S Mini ti also, but it doesn't qualify as under $65. The Elzetta also costs way over the original poster's maximum price limit.

I am thinking of picking one up if I can find one.
