    New bag finished

The aim was for a small day bag, with multi carry options, shoulder, sling and backpack. It is approx. 45x25x10 CM, so around 11L and is made from waterproof polyester and lined with orange nylon.

It is a full clamshell opener, but with a couple of tabs of hook and loop along the zip edges so that it does not fully open unless you want it to.

On the outside of the front panel there is a loop panel/pocket and an almost full length vertical zip pocket, this has angled pockets for phones/notebooks etc and a D ring to hand bits and bobs off. Inside the front panel there is a full length slip pocket.

The outside of the rear panel has a full length external zip pocket, two internal zip pockets (one small and one large) and a D ring. As the main straps will be removable the two lower straps can be laid flat against the bag (as in the photo).

There is also a grab handle on the top.

    Excellent work!
The front vertical pocket would be most accessible when worn sling style over the left shoulder and pulled to the front I imagine? Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I did try it (can't remember which shoulder off the top of my head) but it does slide round perfectly to access that pocket.
I will mark the correct mount next time I try it, so I don't have to think about it when I change it

What denier did you choose for the poly and nylon? Nice color combo btw!

The orange is quite thin and the black is pretty heavy weight, the guy in the shop does not know (quite an old fashion shop). I would say towards 1000D

In the last pic, the triglide attached to short web loop. Between the side d-ring and the right shoulder strap. How is that used?

Ah, forgot about that. When using as a sling or shoulder bag, you thread the unused straps through them to keep them out of the way

Right...that make sense. Really like the slick exterior, very clean...minimalistic. Great concept overall. Your projects are inspiring Leaky5! Thanks for the details!
    Cheers:cool:
