Ok lads and lasses I have a bit of a question. I just won an auction and recieved a 10 year old perfect condition Charge Ti. I have a brand new wave I was given by my best gal for Christmas to take over bag duty from the way too heavy surge which now lives in my BOB. I want a rebar head on my bag MT as my pocket carry is a Skeletool CX. Great little tool but real light duty pliers. I also want a 154cm blade at least in the bag. Now the Charge Ti has that blade and I have a rebar on the way to donate its head so here's my issue... It will be real easy to put the rebar head on the charge and boom done but the wave was a gift from my most favorite of people...so would I be crazy to put the rebar head and charge blade in my wave ( would be a rockin tool)? Then put the wave blade in the charge then send it out to become a pink and black " ladies model" and give it to her for Mother's Day? The rebar with which ever head will become 13 yr old daughters first full sized MT and first blade as well. Ok let's hear those ideas PLEASE HELP! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good idea, good project, but unless you plan to get something a little more "motherly" for Mom in addition to the M-T, I urge caution. Unless she shares your multi-tool enthusiasms, your gift might not go over so well. Better to give her the traditional on Mothers' Day and save the modded m-t for a non-occasion. OTOH, your daughter will be thrilled.
The charge is pretty good as it stands, not sure I'd bother with changing it out, but we all have our hobbies.
I agree with you. I have since decide to leave the charge in tact. I sent the scales out to be cerakoted pink for my best gal. I ordered a charge TTi S30V blade to put in my wave. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
