I have a black E&E, X-ray straps, 2 long skinnys on the sides and the organizer pocket I'd make you a killer deal on if you're interested. Don't know if that setup suits your use profile but if so just hollah.
One more thing i just remembered is the spartan carries one shouldered way better than my zulu (agian because of the one piece harness)
The ASAP is a FINE piece of equipment. I have been EDC mine for a couple of weeks now and I really like it. Holds a good amount, and is narrow on your back. It also is very sleek looking, and the futura is great once set to your back. I cannot comment on Kifaru though never have I owned.
One more vote for the ASAP. I have or at one time had a TAD Litespeed, EDC FAST Pack, Kifaru X-Ray, Zippy, Tom Bihn Synapse, Smart Alec and Vertx Gamut and the ASAP is the best EDC pack out there for my needs. The X-Ray was pretty close, but it was a little too boxy for me. FYI - I carry a 15" MBP, iPad, small notebook, pens, EDC kit in a TAD OP1 and chargers. The ASAP to me is the perfect balance between tactical durability, comfort and sleek looking office friendly pack (especially with the beavertail attached covering some of the PALS webbing). Good luck with your search - bags are such a personal thing that YMMV for sure.)
So no Eagle Ranger Medic Pack & No ASAP or Urban Zippy for you either. I have the ASAP & the GR1 among others but we all need a grail to egg ourselves & each other on: mine is the MR 3DAP. What's your new Grail?
Yeah, I just haven't been able to decide. And I am constantly drawn back to my GR1. So while I really have the itch for a new pack, there's nothing out there right now that has me going, "wow". Sent from my iPhone

The quest for a grail bag can be long and arduous, so its nice when you find your one bag, and are satisfied. Edit: may have been drinking...... -Stay classy
I came to believe the grail bag is a story. A fairy tale, just made up by the nylon syndicate to get us to buy more and more bags.... But after a week orso with the xray I might have found one that suits a lot of different tasks and is pretty good at them as well! But I really would like to test an MR as well some time.
I think my MR spartan is my grail bag,i still want some kifaru bags but i doubt they'll replace my spartan as my edc bag
So I've decided to go completely in another direction. Just got a G2 coyote kifaru marauder with extra pockets for a good deal. Been wanting one for a long time but wasn't about to drop $500 on one. Sent from my iPhone
