Great pics !
Awesome shots, awesome detail
Speaking of Citizen Chronomaster, I got myself a AB9000-61E. A "plain jane" Chronomaster, with SS case and bracelet, no ECO-Drive and no lume on hands or dial. Instead it has A660 movement, battery operated with 5 yr battery life, EOL indicator, and the "usual goodies" like perpetual calendar, jump hour hand and + / - 5 sec per year accuracy.
Case and bracelet construct are missing some of the complexity from AQ1040, yet they are done nicely nonetheless. Citizen definitely kept the hands, indices and dial finish at a high level.
Wearing my AB9000 today. Its running at +1 second since Nov 2018.
Here's mine (joke)

Very nice looking watch. But three grand for Quartz? Am I missing something?
Sounds about right if it were a Grand Seiko for example...

Except the Grand Seikos are spring drive automatics.
I’ve always liked that watch but I gotta have micro adjustments on the bracelet.
Accuracy to 5 seconds a year. And you can adjust the hour hand independently.
Same finishing techniques as GS.
All the movement parts are made of metal like a automatic watch so it’s a serviceable movement.
It’s a step above eco drive where you truly never need a new capacitor.
Hardened grade 5 titanium with there scratch resistant coating.
The movement has internal shock resistance so the time accuracy doesn’t get affected and also regulates for the temperature.
I know I’m missing some things but just isn’t your average quartz.
My only Citizen watch. CB1070-56E. Not in the same league, but despite its anonymous appearance it has quiite a few tricks up its sleeve. Radio controlled Eco-drive, perpetual calendar, super light full titanium construction, less than 10mm thick, hands and markers with decent lume and 100m WR. If I were a normal person this could be my only watch.
