Found this at a local shop for $650. Not a deal by any means, but a fair price for one in 99% condition like this one. I knew I had to have it. I always wanted a big bore revolver, but the price of .44 magnum was always a deal breaker, .45 acp is much cheaper and is much more unique in a revolver platform. Came with original box, 8 moon clips, and a spare set of aftermarket cocobolo grips. Can't wait to shoot this tomorrow :)

Nice find. I've always liked the concept of a revolver in .45acp, but my smaller hands don't get along with the larger frame size. My brother just picked up a Ruger Redhawk in 45LC. It has Hogue grips and actually feels manageable. Now, if I could find a S&W 625 at a good price......with some Hogues there may be hope for me yet.

Be sure to give us a range report.
