I've been wanting to pick up leather working for a while now. I had a little extra money recently so I went out and bought some stuff and here's the first.

I just made a simple pocket sheath for my Leatherman style and my mini bic.

Stitching or burnishing isn't the greatest, but I'm proud of it. So I wanted to share it with you guys.

Feel free to share your projects too. I love seeing homemade leather gear. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

That stitching is very well done. Very even. Wonderful job! Any plans on staining the leather?

I'm probably going to just leave in natural. I plan on making a version 2 when I get some more tools. I'm thinking about finishing that one with beeswax so it'll have a slight yellow tint.

Very nice work. My only experience with leather is making pouches for slingshots and some very basic sheaths for some old work knives.

Mostly made from old workboots and leather work gear

Looks good! And it will only get better with time, as the natural leather will take on an awesome patina as you use it.

nice job on the stitching. If it is dedicated to the Bic & Style, why not wet mold it for a custom fit?
