So im putting the lift on hold for now and have decided to drop a slightly modified 355 into the burban.

Come next week ill be the proud owner of a 355 with a bolt main block, .030 over, 60cc head with 2.02 exhaust valves, 2.02 intake valves, 1.60 exhaust valve, 170cc intake ports, dual valuve springs, screw in rocker studs, 1.6 roller rockers, hardened pushrods, open too chrome k&n air intake, Cam specs: duration 235 249... 546 565 lift.. 108lsa, eldelbrock dual plane intake, 750 carb, and forged rods / flat top pistons with valve relief. Only miles on the engine are the idle, test / tune, and dyno. :D

I will also be upgrading from my stock 7004r to a new 7004r with corrvette servos, HD sunshade, jw performance bell, 3200 stall, redline clutch w/ stage two clutch kit, and a few other odds and ins.

Here is a rough idea as to what my built 355 engine looks like. I think I'm going to go all black with a few accents of brushed aluminum here and there.

Im going to drop everything off with the builder tonight. Hopefully he can get everything installed on the new engine tonight. I still need to pull the burbans engine, clean and degrease the engine bay, paint the engine bay, paint the pulleys, and finish the install.

I'm attempting to vinyl wrap the hood, roof, trunk, gas tank lid, and mirrors with a 3m carbon fiber vinyl.

My custom built tune should be in sometime this week for both the camaro and the cruze. Im looking forward to the 40-50hp bump and 60+ trq bump. Everything i've read about the tune says it really wakes the cars up and makes them a little more fun to drive. I wish the weather and my schedule would give me a break so that could finish up this :censored: motor and tranny swap on the burban.

List of stuff i have to get done on burban

Swap LED lighting for some new stuff i ordered and install resr backup lighting
    Swap motor and tranny
Run a few test passes on new motor, tranny, and 100 shot
Swap the front and rear end with new dana 44, swap to locking rear, and replace any work steering components.
    Get started on the lift
Build the roof rack and rock sliders

Things i still need to do to the camaro

    Install the magnaflow exhaust
    Install the headers
    Install the CAI
Intall the tune and get some data logging done
Repair the rear end where some POS backed into me and then drove off
Wrap the hood, roof, and trunk

Things to do on the cruze

Wrap the hood, roof, and trunk
Install new headlights and tail lights
Install tune and get dome data logging done
    Build a custom sound system
    Install aome led lighting

I can't decide which color I wanna go with for my wheels.

I'm leaning towards the graphite but also like the multi color aka kaleidoscope. There are still three other colors I wanna check out before I make my final decision.

I found removing the shifter completely makes taking it apart much easier. To remove the shifter, just simply twist slightly and pull up. It will pop right off in your hands and you can then take it apart with easy.
Notes: use flash light to see where the tabs are.

Lol, i couldn't stand that flat gray interior trim on a nice black on black interior. That crap just atood out like a sore thumb to me and looked like a LS model trim package instead of a LTZ.

I personally hate when a auto maker puts black seats / carpet and tan dash and trim. How hard is it to make it all tan, all white, an or all black. When i see that kind of crap on a premium model it posses me off that they cheaped out.

I know it's not Burban related but here is just one of the many projects that's been taking up my time.
