Hey guys I hope everithing is ok to you. Some friend told me the Native 5 Blue S110v is a pocketknife with an aggressive shape, look too pointy and ready to kill, but for me,is the glbest edc knife i've ever had. What do you think about knife shapes? Should i get another knife? Thanks
wow, that's not right. What you need is a Spyderco Endura. That's the holy grail of pocketknives! Until tomorrow....
Disagree. What you need is a Strider SnG. That’s the Grail. Sent from my Glade Air Freshener using Morse code
I've always been entranced by knives because they are for the most part, functional...practical works of art. The fact that designers have different artistic views and or envisioned purposes for their creations makes the choices near unlimited and fun. I wish I had more money to spend on um...."art". Shape/Size: For me, drop points or clip points in the 3-3.5" length. Brand: It's hard to beat a Kershaw, SOG, Cold Steel or Spyderco for sure based on the $150 or so for your mentioned selection. Buy More: YES! If your not sure, but a spyderco delica or entry level spyderco cutting companion to add another cutting tool to your shed man.
The native 5 seems to be a very underestimated knife. The S90V version with fluted carbon scales is a true gem, and it’s even a regular production model. I carry the salt version myself today. It’s not my grail knife, because it doesn’t fit my hand amazingly well, but it’s a really good knife, more than good enough to be somebody’s grail.
Wow!!! The I have an endura but is too big, where i live, people don't like to see knives around. I've never had a strider, but it looks too tactical. I think the best knife to be carried in a place full of "knives hater" people is my Fallkniven TK4c... or a small Victorinox
The Delica seems about perfect if the Endura is too huge and it seems too huge for me to EDC too. The DF are too small for me but the Delica is an amazing mount of knife in a light package for sure!
Yep i'm thinking to the Delica in some bright color but i never tried the VG10. Oh! ZDP189 on colorful handles? I don't need any particular lock (my favourite is backlock), i'm considering slipjoint too. Well, a good one could be the Lionsteel Barlow (3"n M390...) https://www.lionsteel.it/n/en/product/1865/ck011_barlow
Meh come on. We share a border, I’m in the same boat. Don’t flaunt it, don’t wave around, don’t put up a show. Be all calm about it and play it low key, how it should be done anyway. Here and there I get a gasp and I have one or the other customer where I rather take my large Inkosi. Sent from my Glade Air Freshener
@ThaMac i agree with you, i'm not a show guy, i just like to carry my knife for daily tasks like cut a couple of ziptie or a package and yes i know i can do it wit a 1$ box cutter
I’m seriously looking at some tops folders and the tops Baja knife. Grail for me lately. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Over the past dozen years, I’ve pretty much bought my grail knives; Sebenza, Strider, Hinderer, William Henry, Karroll, Direware, Graham, Voorhies and many others. Just my opinion, a good Spyderco or ZT is 95% as nice and cost much less. I carry a Fairly knife, but if something happened to it...well, I’d replace it. But, until then, I’d happily carry a ZT801 or Spyderco Domino.
And you can drive a 500 dollar, 20 year old Yugo rust bucket. Eat only rice that you buy in bulk at a warehouse. Live in a shack in the woods. We make deliberate decisions about the things we do and have. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
