This is my transition from a junky Jansport backpack (way too big), to a well designed, durable, Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon 2. It fits all my needs, and can even hold more if I want it to.

So, to start us all off, I will show you some pictures of my old backpack and how it didn't work out at all.

Like I said before this was just a terrible bag, so I had to get a new one...

So, that concludes my EDC bag transition. Please let my know if there is anything i can add, take out, what ever.

    Thank you!

P.S.- I taped the straps down at the top of the bag because I found that they sometimes pop up especially if I'm biking somewhere, since I live in a city and don't own a car. I just used some black electrical tape.

I'm almost sold on this bag but I've heard that Maxpedition is pretty terrible with shipping speed. How long did this take to get to you from the time you ordered it?

Pretty good setup. I've got a similar setup...except my main compartment is only used for books. I've got a Monkey Admin Pouch stowed in my Admin compartment. I really like the pack, I just need to find a way to keep its shape when it's somewhat empty.

Next to your organizer, I keep a compact umbrella (to walk ladies out to the parking lot). It just fits.

I guess my next step is to add some attachments and paracord wrapping... I'm thinking a foliage green paracord with some black molle attachments. Any suggestions?

I highly suggest some cotton in with the medicine (aspirin or ibuprofen, i guess), or it will crush itself in to a powder before long bouncing around in there.

You might have them, and I missed them, but some surgical gloves.
I carry extra socks also, but I keep them in a plastic bag in case my pack gets wet, my socks will be dry.
