Wow! Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for. I think I'm glad I got the the full size SPOT. I love the idea of the mini, and I know it would serve its purpose well, but I was looking for a user that could handle some heavier duty tasks.
Well Peter did say he would be cranking out plenty of edged tools, but he did imply that some would be more limited than others. I'd love to get my hands on a MSOPT or Booger, but by Peter's own words there will be a "small number" and "a few" of those two models, respectively. Unfortunately this new sales model hurts my chances since I can't buy his tools at work anymore. You can bet I'll be crossing my fingers for the next few weeks!
... i really need to hold both in my hand to tell but i think MSOPT for EDC, and SOPT for activity such hike/camping etc would be great
My original question was answered just in the first reply: O0 And confirmed in the last one: Those characteristics are the most important for me! I was not sure about it, and passed on the first chance to score the MSOPT by a click. Now, have to hope for the second chance... Many thanks to all for your opinions!
Anyone catch a glance of the talonite MSOPT that Peter listed today through his new lottery system? It is is an extremely nice piece and I am hoping today is my lucky day.
I have both. I prefer the MSOPT. I find the smaller edge tools work better for EDC and the visual impact just works.
It still seems to me as the craziest thing in the world - I won the DLC MSOPT in the Peter's lottery tonight! I will post a photo when it arrives!
