Those of you who own both MSOPT and SOPT! Which one do you prefer and why? Just write the first idea which comes in mind.
I am thinking about a purchase, but only one of them...

Thank you for sharing your ideas...

P.S. Whoever read the recent Peter's blog will understand me... :idiot2:

MSOPT - smaller size means I am more likely to bring it with me.

I had a MSOPT for a small while, but sold it when the prices were such that I couldn't justify carrying it. I would jump on another MSOPT in a hot second as an EDC. Just nearly perfect.

I just picked up a MSOPT. It is a really nice knife, but it is true to it's mini name. I think I would prefer a SOPT for it's larger size. Now we will see if I will be able to part with some green when they become available.

What he said... Seems like I'm always trading away an MSOPT within a few days of receiving one. I was lucky enough to pick up a user SOPT, so that's what I've been using for the past few months as my EDC.

Besides with a blackened voodoo refinish job, my SOPT now matches my Prybaby, and I'm all about color coordination. :p

The MSOPT is super small! It is amazing just how tiny it is. I haven't seen a SOPT in person so I can't compare, but it depends on what your needs are. A key chain knife or a work knife. I need to replace my Wilson Tactical Cop Tool so I would like to get a SOPT to keep close by, but not EDC (at this point anyway).

I received one of the most recent batch of MSOPT. It is too small for me. Look for it on buy-sell-trade soon.

    SOPT on the way!!!

I will let you know when it gets here, but I am pretty sure that I will prefer the size of the SOPT to the MSOPT.

MSOPT was just to little for me.

I was going through the same dilemma. MSOPT or SOPT? I decided on getting the full size one (mainly because I missed the MSOPT sale!), Whatever I got, I was hoping to carry it on my belt as a great EDC backup to my regular EDC knife, and have the functionality of the Son of Prything! features to boot. Does anyone have any photos of the two together? Or of one being carried on in the teclok? Either way, I guess I'm lucky to have finally get my hands on an Atwood blade!

I notice the new batch doesn't appear to have the little grinds on the bottle opener for your thumb.

Don't worry too much, the story from Peter's blog is that this was a very small initial run (like 20, I think mostly limited the amount of kydex he had on hand for sheaths), but there are lots and lots of knives and edged Atwood tools coming up in the next month or so.

SOPT is best in my opinion. The MSOPT is cool, but small for a large adult.

I've been trying to decide between the two for quite a while now. You made the decision for me, no doubts about it. I am cool, but I am definitely NOT a large adult. So it's MSOPT for me.

Thanks to Peter's AMAZINGLY quick shipping, my SOPT arrived today. It's really a nice usable size, and here's a quick pic to show the comparison between it and the MSOPT. The MSOPT is perfect for a keychain, while the SOPT would need to be carried with the cool sheath that accompanies it, or with the belt clip removed and just carried in the kydex sheath in the pocket.
