I'm sure many of you know "MilSpec Monkey". He does reviews of gear and has some cool morale patches. Well now he is making a bag in cooperation with Tactical Tailor (a great American company).

    http://milspecmonkey.com/store/packs-bags/341-msm-adapt-pack.html

Bag looks pretty cool. Only $100. Kind of cool because it can be a sling bag or double strap. Has CCW Velcro pocket and some other neat features.

Yet another spin-off of Tactical Tailor's basic ROP design..

How many variations of this pack is TT going to make? lol

For me, I don't use all that extra hardware, so the extra buckles, zips, and loop fields wouldn't be all that useful. In fact, I already have a TT ROP and kinda want the Grey Ghost Gear version instead. Skips all the superfluous buckles. I need to bust mine out again and see if it still works for my EDC loadout.

That little dude cracks me up. Also you'd think Monkey would know the importance of including specs on a product page. :rolleyes_revamped:

Anyway, as others are speculating and I agree, it looks like it's a modified Removable Operator Pack.

Yeah the first thing I look for is the specs! Volume, dimensions, etc......in this case size does matter.

The Grey Ghost Pencott packs don't have the docking hardware. I wish that version was more readily available.

This pack is an XL ROP with two zippers on the front pocket and loop velcro inside. The pic of him wearing it is funny because he looks tiny... but it is because I am used to the smaller version.

Nice looking pack and a decently price. If I was looking for something new I'd definitely try it.

    Silly imho.

They should have at least gone for a full zip front panel access and an exterior water bottle holder on one side.

That one strap carry crap is, well, chromed Cadillac crap.

And I really like the ROP in general.

    Agreed.
Also whenever he puts a pack on it makes the pack look huge, do not go off of pics with him and the pack LOL.

    For example

Oh wait... it is the same size as a ROP? In the video it looks bigger, but I guess the model is just smaller! Hahaha.

What's wrong with the single strap carry? It's the only real change I see from the ROP.

Oh but there's more: an extra, EXTRA large velcro patch. So you can squeeze on more Mil-spec Monkey patches. Kachinga!

The single strap carry feature is silly imho. The pack is too big for it, the angle of the strap (as mounted to the bag) is designed for backpack carry. Plus it's just silly.

You can use a single carry strap on the GGG LWAP and TT ROP too. They are all essentially the same the pack..

    Tactical Tailor ROP (1000D Cordura)
Tactical Tailor Fight Light ROP (500D Cordura)
Grey Ghost Gear Lightweight Assault Pack (500D Cordura)
Grey Ghost Gear Lightweight Assault Pack (Duro LiteLok)
Mil-Spec Monkey Adapt Pack. (Looks like 1000D Cordura.)

They are all based off the Tactical Tailor ROP. Same size. Same dimensions. (Slightly different features or materials, though.) ;)
