I don't think that will fit (easily) as it looks like the PDW has 3/4" buckles.

I've heard that the Kifaru Grab It would work, i've yet to see it done though.

I'm thinking of trying the shadotrap with my 3DAP too. Kind of giving up on getting my hands on the Stick-It. All the ebay auctions are from america and cost an arm and a leg to ship to europe and clear customs. the Shadotrap is actually available in retail here.

    EDIT
So does this mean that the molle on the 3DAP is too wide to fit into the buckles? And I guess the buckles are sewn on, so they can't be replaced without cutting them off first. They're not like those removable sliding buckles.[IMG]

Right, the 3DAP uses 1" buckles for the top compression straps. I'm not aware of a 3/4" snap on buckle either. Maybe you could adapt one to fit, but I can't see an easy solution.

Maybe get some 1" snap on buckles, break off the ones that come with the gear trap so that it preserves the sewn loop without having to cut. And then put the new snap on buckles?

What about using a TAD beavertail, now that they're selling them separately?

I can help with this question as I have both handy: it can be done, but you have to switch the lower buckles as they line up male/male, female/female (at least this is how ther are on my gen 1 Litespeed). It looks like you could also come up with something for the wide straps on the bottom - they seem to line up well with the molle webbing on the bottom of the MR 3DAP.

If you can get ITW repair buckles in 3/4" you might be able squeeze them onto 1" webbing

    Or

Fit 1" ITW repair buckles to the SHADO panel

OK well I pulled the trigger and bought the SHADO trap to try and fit onto the 3DAP. Here are the results. Extra materials used were 2 ladderloc split bars, and the kifaru K-connector kit.

First of all, THANK YOU for sharing this.
Just making sure I got my grocery list correct
    1) Kirafu K-connect kit
    https://store.kifaru.net/guide-lid-and-compression-kits-p32.aspx
    2) two ladderloc split bars

Just not sure what the ladderloc is for...I'm staring at the pictures...now, trying to make sense about it.

I think on another thread someone has mentioned they are going to start selling the stick it again in March.

The first one: K-Connector Conversion Kit
The ladderlocs were used on the bottom webbing to provide tie in points for the bottom 2 straps. I opted not to use K-Connectors there because it twisted the webbing too much and it looked weird.

Yeah it appears MR is bringing back the stick-it according to rumors. If you're american, it's probably going to be easy to get one. Over hee, in Europe, the SHADO Gear Trap seems to be more readily available. I only know of 1 public dealer of MR gear and they are super expensive with over 25% the price of the US item including taxes.
