I have a few pair of Mountain Khakis and really like them, I don't have any Railriders, however in my opinion cotton is much more comfortable than nylon and would give the mountain khakis a shot- I think they are on sale at Orvis

I wear the Mountain Khakis Teton Twills...both pants and shorts. Love them! Tough as nails, and look great too. I wear the pants to work in a business environment.

TAD is great and all but I get a 30-40% discount on both Railriders and MK. For those of you MK guys, how well does is do in hot weather? I live in Northern VA and it can get pretty hot, and very humid here during the summer. Right now I wear Blackhawk cargo pants in the winter, and their lightweight cotton/nylon version in the summer.

They are coming out with a line of nylon fabric pants for the summer soon. Called the snake river collection

I love my Mountain Khakis. Brilliant design. I love the doouble pocket and the quality of the pants in general. Just wish they were a little cheaper so I could afford to get some more of them.

Go to froogle.com and enter the item name. Then sort by price in the drop down menu.

No the problem is my waist is too big. LOL!!!In all seriousness I have the Lake Lodge Twills(lightweight), which are not that baggie but my favorites are the Teton Twills. They are a little baggy in the legs. I will say the worse characteristic feature of MK's are they wrinkle VERY VERY easy.
