They're a great little knive. I have about 4 or 5 floating around. One in each tackle box/bag, one in my truck, one in my bush bag etc.

I have a Mora in my edc bag, truck glove box, bugout bag, tackle box, range bag. When I went to army survival school the instructors took all our "top shelf" knives and handed us a Mora stating that if you couldn't do it with it then having a Randall, Bark River, or some custom wouldn't make a difference. Made me a believer.

I carry the Elders as a neck knife every day when I walk or run (a couple of miles each morning). Works out well. And very handy if needed.

I recently acquired a Mora companion with black handle. Plan to bring it in our hiking trip. Together with my opinel and leatherman crater, this is a favorite working knife :)

I've been using Mora knives since the first bright spark chipped a rock, slapped a handle on it and went "yo bro, try this".
And yes there were people moaning abot it not being full tang.

Given how popular the Garberg, Kansbol & Eldris are becoming ESSE, TOPS et al should be somewhat concerned.
Personally I prefer a Companion in Stainless Steel. I own several in carbon steel, great knives but I prefer not having to faff around rust proofing the blade.

It's all in the grind. :smile_coffee:

I was curious and suspicious at first, but found them to be good "bftb". That ended up being a gateway into kydex sheaths n' blade tech stuff.
