My Mixed Works - Falcon M backpack in Blackout Custom.
Owned this one for couple of weeks and as much as I tried to fault it in some way, I am unable to do so.
It features everything you might need and nothing you don't. Simple no-nonsense design, "bombproof" build, will take the beating and everything you throw at it and then some.
And all that plus the fact it's hand-built to order in M/Works workshop in Poland

    Some of the highlights:

    - mil-spec Cordura 1000D outer shell
    - Truck tarpaulin X-Pac interior lining (this is the same lining army trucks use)
    - AustriAlpin Cobra 2" main buckle
    - YKK & ITW buckles and hardware
    - mil-spec nylon webbing and thread
    - handles made with durable climbing pipe tape
    - 3 pockets, including 15" laptop compartment
    - internal compartment quick-access from the side

    Rolled-up top:

    Flat-out top:

Side zip access to main internal compartment:

Small pocket for frequently accessed bits:

The Back. Features straps with micro-adjustment for lower back carry comfort:

Sorry Chris, no photos of the inside yet, I am away for a week so will be a while until I can post those.
For your info, think of inside as a one giant tube with a laptop compartment that accepts 15" laptops.

There are two pockets on the outside, one larger at the front and one smaller for car keys, wallet etc bits and pieces on a side of the bag.

I use another smaller 'admin' pouch for other bits and pieces that I need quickly (multitool, pens, small notepad etc), it is inside the main compartment.

I recently received my own Mixed works Falcon pack and I'm similarly impressed. The materials and quality of construction are superb. Love the design. I wanted a smaller pack for light, daily carry needs so I purchased have the small size. I'm 5'-10", 200 pounds and the small size works great. If I had to wish for any improvement, it would be to add an admin area on the inside. Instead, I use the central exterior pocket for my wallet and phone, put my keys in the lower, side, exterior zip pocket, and use a Vanquest Pocket Maximizer in the main compartment to organize my smaller items.
