Had this made earlier this year after seeing a number of similar ones online. Hard to improve on the design of others especially when it is this simple/basic. Ultra compact but enough to carry 4 credit/ATM cards, insurance card, CCW, some cash and your DL.

Made it out of Tarpaulin which is strong, flexible, waterproof and inexpensive. Taped the edges with 5038 webbing. Clear PVC for the ID window.

Unfortunately I'm not one of those who care for standard size or large wallets. Truth be told, we have a bad habit of collecting things inside when it is bigger so a minimalist wallet like this helps ;)

Cool..I've always wanted to downsize... and I've tried... I always end up with a giant butt wedge to throw me off kilter.

LOL, been there before but thankfully I did succeed. I just hope it doesn't reverse!

Nice! Switching to a smaller, front pocket wallet was the best change I've ever made to my EDC. It took a few weeks to stop freaking out every time I touched my back right pocket and didn't feel my wallet, but since then I've loved it. The one problem most minimal wallets have is that they don't hold cash well. Some people solve that with a money clip. I never liked that because it took up too much room to put in the same pocket and I never had much cash. And what do you do with it if you have no cash in it? So for years I used a tyvek wallet for cash in the same pocket as my card wallet. It worked fine but didn't really look great. Now I use a recycled firefighter card sleeve. The wide elastic on the back is perfect for a few folded bills.

I think minimalist wallets are a great idea. While my own is not truly "minimalist" (it is a hardshell Flip Side RF-blocker), one must be very disciplined in filling it. Four CC-sized pieces of plastic; insurance cards & half of a book of postage stamps; driver's license; and a modest amount of currency. That's it.

I concur, it is a question of discipline. The one issue I had were business cards. In the beginning I kept swearing 'cos I always forgot to bring a couple in case I need to hand them out but I got over that in no time. I started forwarding my vCard on the spot to the recipient's email address or mobile number.

    I made this.
Whithout crap is a really slim wallet. It is a prototype but work so well that I use it in the last year and seems to be very durable and light. Left front pocket

I'm currently using a bellroy card sleeve, about as minimalist as I can get. But I recently ordered a krusell kalmar phone case

I haven't got it yet, but looks like a good solution to condense the wallet even more

Can't get more minimalist than a rubber band. I found that the bands used in the grocery store, to hold the celery together last the longest.

I use this wallet when wearing college pants or when I cant take the risk that my leather wallet my girlfriend bought me for christmas might damage. Holds 4 cards which is mostly for me enough when using this backup wallet. It has endured years in my use because im using it in the front pockets of pants and not sitting on it. It has been my main wallet for few years but nowadays im using the "big and bulky" :)
