    Howdy.

When I'm feeling minimalist, I usually run the below system. It's a binder clip holding about 8mms worth of IDs, debit card, Moleskin notepad, and photo of the wife. I like the smallness of it, but don't like the look of the binder clip. Anyone have a suggestion for replaceing the binder clip while maintaining the minimalist form-factor?

Sounds like it might work. I don't have any tie clips, but it's something to look for next time I'm at the thrift store. Thanks for the suggestion.

I use the binder clip as well. Have several money clips but always go back to this. Small cheap simple!

I've been using the CountyComm ti money clip for several years. Simple light no moving parts.

Don't know where I saw it, but the ultimate minimal money clip is take two magnets, glue-tape them to a bill of your choice, use the bill as your clip, invisible money clip.

I could not find a ti money clip on County Comm's website. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. That is certainly possible. did however find these ( http://www.superiortitanium.com/Titanium_Money_Clip.html ) and they seem quite nice.

In terms of the magnet options suggested above... I'm a bit doubtful that a magnet would hold 1/4" worth of cards and bills. What is the usual load you folks use with the magnet clips? To be honest, mine is mostly cards and not much cash (thanks to forums like this one).

I'm searching for something a little better looking than the binder clip presently in use. A rubber band might not do the trick.

I sometimes used my Boker Subcom as a money clip...kills two birds with one stone...clip and knife.

Very nice! Thanks for the link.

I use a small binder clip for miscellaneous cards I keep in my backpack but this is looking like a nice alternative.
