My oldest used a mudman while in the Navy. He was a cook, and figured that if it could keep mud out, it would keep batter out. He mostly did baking and used the timer as a backup.

    US Navy.
Cheapest watch that kept accurate time and could be broken, lost or stolen while on duty or Liberty Call. Usually a Timex or a Casio at the Navy Exchange after payday.

Thanks for your service guys!. I am not LEO, Firefighter or Military dude.
For the past 4 years I've been a Hotshot driver.
Accurate time necessary for log booking and such.
Quartz movement seems to be be best for me. Although I would like to try a Solar energy watch

Just has to be something I can buy local. No ability to shop online....

Cheap, light and tough G-Shocks. Mostly 5600s and alike.

Luminox 3051 as a paramedic for 10 years. Never failed me. Still have it, still works great.

Timex Expedition for me. Simple with a large face but not to large. Only problem is the second hand has a loud tick that can drive you crazy at night if it's on your nightstand

I'm a firefighter and when on call I wear a g-shock. When off duty I wear a citizen.

I hate any jewelry or watches and do not wear them off duty. When I am on duty I wear a cheap walmart watch that has indiglo and a velcro strap. Its very light and easy to read.

I wore a Casio solar digital watch for my first 10 years as a police officer. I've been using my Fitbit Ionic for the last 3. Might go back to a Casio.[IMG]

On patrol tonight. Just got this GPR-B1000 G Shock a few months ago. Has been great.

I’ve had a GW-9400 and a GWG-1000 for about a year and alternated between them often. G Shocks have served very well. I wish I’d gotten into them so much sooner.

The Founding Fathers would have been shooting decades ago.
